To Haiti with Love is prayerfully seeking to help the orphans in L’espinasse Haiti. The orphans, who are now living hand to mouth, begging being their existence, would be placed in a loving home and provided with food for the month; the orphan would also be enrolled in the Educational Sponsorship Program and receive an education and breakfast and lunch as well. The goal of the program is to help the helpless, especially the children, and the widows.
Please pray with us as we go forward with a pilot program. We have six children orphan profiles that we have started the ministry with. They are in the homes of widows, who are being helped as well. Sponsor an orphan is $90 a month. That includes their food each day in the widow’s home, their schooling at the Church’s school and “stove” to for cooking.

Food and nourishment are critical in Haiti, as the food shortage is extensive. Most Haitians live off the land, but with the recent droughts, there has been little crop production. The families cannot afford to feed their own children, let alone take in additional children. With a sponsor providing for the food for the orphan for the month, provisions can be made.
ALL MONEY IS GIVEN TO THE CHILDS PROJECT COORDINATOR
Money would not be given to the family, but the project coordinator would purchase the food, and make food delivery to the supporting family.
BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY THROUGH SPONSORSHIP
It’s wonderful to know that 6 orphans who were not able to go to school and be fed well will be going to school in September and also they will have food supplies each month at their houses because of the generosity and love of our donors. We thank these people very much for their generous contributions. Haiti has currently been facing a huge gang trouble. Statistically, in average most of the gangs members are between 18 to 35 years old. The young are becoming involved in gangs because many of them have lost both of their parents. They are not able to go to school and have nothing to eat. We thank everyone who is helping us try to break the circle of poverty in Haiti through their monthly contributions to send a child to school and feed them.
